OVVL is a co-savings platform operated by Transacting Machines Enterprises, a business registered in Kenya (Registration No. BN-L5CYR6KY), with its registered address at 5th Floor, 509 Cavendish, Beijing Road, Machakos Athi River District, Athi River, P.O. Box 0100, 00100 - G.P.O, Nairobi.

When you join our waiting list, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and phone number.

When you use the OVVL WhatsApp assistant, we collect your WhatsApp phone number and the content of your messages, which may include information you choose to share to manage a savings group, such as group and contribution details, names of other members you invite, and payment confirmation messages (e.g. M-Pesa) you paste to record a contribution.

• To register and notify you about your place on the waiting list.
• To operate the WhatsApp assistant: authenticate you, manage your savings groups, record contributions, and respond to your messages, including with the help of an AI assistant.
• To communicate with you about the OVVL product and your account.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

We share information with the following service providers, only as needed to operate OVVL:

• Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform — to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
• Anthropic (Claude) — to help the WhatsApp assistant understand and respond to your messages.
• HubSpot — to manage waiting list sign-ups.
• Render — our infrastructure provider, which hosts our application and database.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We retain your information for as long as your account or waiting list entry is active, or as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing us at admin@ovvl-ai.com. You can also stop using the WhatsApp assistant at any time by ending the conversation.
